Onion Salad

Ingredients:

  1. 1 Onion
  2. Pick-me-up Sauce or Vinegar
  3. Salt

Method:

  1. Cut the Onion into thin round pieces.
  2. Sprinkle 1 to 2 teaspoons of Pick-me-up sauce or Vinegar.
  3. Sprinkle some salt and and mix.
  4. Serve with other food like rice, roti, dal, curries etc.

Method:

  2. Cut the Lemon and squeeze the juice over th onions.
  3. Sprinkle some salt and and mix.
  4. Serve with other food like rice, roti, dal, curries etc.

Radish Salad

Ingredients:

  1. 1 white coloured Radish

Method:

  1. Wash the radish.
  2. Use a food peeler to take off a thin layer of skin off the radish.
  3. Cut the radish into pieces, the size of your pointer finger.
  4. Put the radish in a bowl and serve raw with food such as dal and rice etc.

Rock melon Fruit Salad

Ingredients:

  1. Rock melon
  2. Sugar

Method:

  1. Wash the rock melon. Cut into halves and take out the seeds.
  2. Peel off the skin.
  3. Cut it into small cubes.
  4. Pour it in a dish and sprinkle sugar over it.
  5. Put it in the fridge for 2 to 3 hours and serve cold.
  6. You can also serve with ice cream.

Mango sweet, hot n spicy salad

Ingredients:

  1. Half ripe mangoes 2 to 3
  2. Salt
  3. Chilly Powder
  4. Garlic paste

Method:

  1. Get half ripe fresh mangoes.
  2. Peel and wash the mangoes.
  3. Cut the mango flesh into small cubes.
  4. Put the diced mangoes in a dish or plate and sprinkle salt chilly powder and garlic.
  5. Mix this well and serve.

Tomato and English Cabbage Salad

Ingredients:

  1. 3 fresh ripe Tomatoes
  2. 1 small English Cabbage
  3. Fresh Chillies
  4. Salt
  5. 1/4 Onion
  6. 1 Capsicum

Method:

  1. Wash the tomatoes and cut the tops. Slice the tomatoes in half and take out the seeds. Chopp these tomatoes into small cubes
  2. Take about a 1/4 of english cabbage and shred it into thin long pieces.
  3. Take a quarter of Onion and cut it in small cubes.
  4. Cut the Capsicum in halves and take out the seeds, chop the capsicum in small cubes.
  5. Chop the fresh chillies in small pieces.
  6. Mix the chopped tomatoes, cabbage, onion, capsicum, chillies and salt.
  7. Put this in fridge for about half an hour and serve with other food.

Tips:

  1. Removing the seeds prevents the salad from being sour.
  2. Some people cannot eat tomatoes because they have gastrities, removing the seeds solves this problem.
  3. If you don’t eat hot food, than don’t add chillies (chillies are optional).
  4. This is very healthy.
