Hi there Reshmi,

Hi Reshmi, I have just tried out your recipe for barfii and GulabJamun and they both turned out exactly how i imagined them to be. Thanxx soo much for your recipe. I am in auckland Nz and its quite hard to find indian sweets from fiji. Most of them sold here are from india and they dont taste the same. Soo thanxx so much….It truly made me feel like i was back in fiji agen..

Great job with the blog, i have been looking for a fiji-indian site for so long and I grew up with the food but am unable to make it. So happy that someone is out there who knows how to!
Recipes sound authentic, and delicious just like home.
Do you have any for mince samosa, coconut ice, lakri methai and chicken palao?

I am looking for vegetarian food, I will be doing train journey which usually lasts for 2 days, hence need receipes wherein the food life should have a longer shell life. atleast 2 days if not for 1 week. I am looking for side dishes mostly, or please provide some type of parathas or rotis which has a tasty flavour in it, which does not require side dish, Or any other type of food which works out during lengthy train journey,,,,,,,, Please no pickles or curd rice. anything else is ok…..
thanks a lot
