Ingredients:

  1. 10 tender dalo leaves
  2. 1 tin coconut cream
  3. salt
  4. 1 onion
  5. 2 cups water
  6. Garlic 2 tbsp
  7. Oil 2 tbsp
  8. Lemon juice 1tbsp
  9. 1 tbsp baking powder

Optional:

  1. Tomatoes

Method:

  1. Wash dalo leaves
  2. Break off the pointed edge.
  3. Take out the veins from the leaves.
  4. Cut the leaves into smaller pieces.
  5. Heat Oil and add 1/4 of the chopped onions.
  6. Add half of Garlic and stirr till golden brown.
  7. Add the cut vegetables and add water.
  8. Add salt and let it cook.
  9. When vegetable is tender and cooked, add Coconut cream, Remaining garlic, onions and coconut cream.
  10. When it starts boiling add lemon juice and stirr. Take it off the flame
  11. Serve with rice/roti/kasava/kumala/boiled banana.
