Ingredients for making Bhajia Pakoda :

  1. Baking Powder 2 tsp
  2. Pea Besan 200g
  3. Chillies to Taste
  4. Green leafy Vegetable
  5. Garlic 5 cloves
  6. Oil for deep fryig

Note:

For green leafy vegetable you can use either:

  • English cabbage (leaves only)
  • Bele leaves
  • Sajan leaves
  • Churaya leaves
  • Spinach

Method for making Bhajia Pakoda:

  1. Clean the vegetables, wash it properly and chop it.
  2. In a bowl put all the ingredients together except oil. Slowly mix these ingredients. And pour water in portions to make a thick batter.
  3. Pour oil in a frying pan and heat it.
  4. Take mixture in little portions and pour little balls in oil.
  5. Deep fry until golden brown in medium heat.
  6. Serve hot with chutney or tomato sauce.

Notes:

  • Make sure the batter is not too thin in consistency.
  • Best served with tea/coffee or any other soft drink.
